As we cross into Beltane, the energy shifts.

Where winter asked us to turn inward, Beltane invites us to step forward — toward warmth, toward connection, toward what is ready to grow.

Beltane, often translated to "bright fire", is a time for focusing on creativity, passion, and letting go of things that no longer serve you.

Cherry Blossoms!

Flowers are pushing through uncomfortable growth stages to flourish.

So can you!

🔥 From Hearth to Flame

During hibernation, Open Hearth became something more than a weekly gathering.

It became a quiet practice.

A place where you showed up without needing to prove anything.
Where presence mattered more than productivity.
Where we remembered—again and again—that we are not meant to do this alone.

In the stillness of winter, you tended something real. Thank you for tending the fire of community with me.

And now, that warmth becomes fuel.

🔥 Beltane: A Threshold

Beltane is a celebration of life force, creativity, and emergence.

It asks a different question than winter did.

Not: What do I need to release?
But: What is ready to grow?

Growth doesn’t require perfection.
It requires willingness.

Willingness to try.
To risk.
To begin before you feel ready.

Let’s begin together.

🔥 A Growth Mindset, Gently Held

I remind my clients that a growth mindset doesn’t mean pushing harder.
It means relating to yourself differently.

It sounds like:

  • “I don’t know how—yet.”

  • “This feels uncomfortable, and I can stay with it.”

  • “I can learn, shift, and try again.”

The same presence you practiced at the hearth — that patience, that non-judgment — is the foundation for growth.

You already know how to do this.

🔥 Carry the Practice Forward

What if growth looked like:

  • Returning to something you’ve been avoiding, with curiosity instead of pressure

  • Letting your ideas be imperfect and in motion

  • Staying connected to others as you stretch into new territory

Open Hearth taught us how to be.
Beltane invites us to become.
Growth Mindset engenders feelings of self-compassion.

🔥 What’s Next

Open Hearth may have closed its winter chapter, but the fire is not gone.

It lives in:

  • The way you show up

  • The risks you take

  • The connections you nurture

There will be new ways to gather in the months ahead.

For now, trust what’s unfolding.

As you step into this season of light and growth, may you carry both the stillness of winter and the courage of spring.

Tend what’s growing.
Trust what’s emerging.
